@Luna lu He didn't pay attention to those around him despite him being in a position where people look up to him. That's just a shortcut way to getting betrayed in the long run. I'd say this kicero guy lasted quite long when I see the way he was treated by his role model.

@Luna lu darian was an ass**** basically. the man follow and worship him and loyal to a fault. i understand he want to pass it down to his son but that guy just want to be recognize by darien but darien dont even acknowledge him. if darien acknowledge him and properly guide him to swordmanship that actually fit him this wouldn't happen.

Well, if Darian doesn't want to teach him his swordsmanship technique then he should just guide him in his own swords technique. Also, the other guy was being too greedy for his swords technique. So basically both are at fault.
