@Godchioma it literally said in the explanation that it was believe that men couldn't use majik. Like at all. Not that their trials were harder, they just couldn't use it. He just happens to have stumbled across a specific majik who's trial banned women. Even the majik themselves didn't believe there could be male witches. You're tryna tell me that the creatures that created the trials themselves believed the women's lies too or something??🫩

@Sword lover i can see where he gets that idea from the story is written very poorly starting off it states only women can use it then fast forward to the currrent timeline the king ranked majik states that all along he keeps telling them no woman can ever defeat him. if women can't defeat him then who can? man.   the story is EXTREMELIY inconsistent from the start was majik only from women or for both? they obviously knew of that king majik he was branded as a disastor yet they only believed only women can do it even though the majik itself stated only men can defeat it?

@degenx the story was not inconsistent. The entire plot is about the fact that the main character is a man who can use majik even tho it was deemed impossible for men. Thats why the king majik was so confident. Because women couldnt defeat him and there was no male witches it would live forever. Thats literally what the majik was thinking. At the end of the chapter it literally explains it too. That specific trial banned women, but allowed men. No other trial had allowed men. Which is why it was belived to be impossible. Even with that, the chances of a man defeating the majik was 0.001% or smth like that. So no its not inconsistent, you js cant read😑

@Sword lover the story is VERY inconsistant we have the females telling the story as history for all we know they could have altered it, that king has been wandering around for quite a long time and htey KNEW he was searching for a male to defeat him not a female yet they kept telling everyone only females can aquire that power, they even sent females to fight that king majik even KNOWING after the majik itself telling it nonstop that only males can defeat it, its not that i can't read its that you guys are in denail of how the storyline is playing it, it starts off with a definitive story that's passed down the line through one gender stating that its only able to get power not the opposing inspite of the power itself stating you know men can aquire the power i have i'm right here come and hunt me men? but the women are right there saying no no only we can hunt because the founders said so.  again you fail to understand what you're reading and wanna accept trash as peak writing go ahead its trash  js   and through the middle when it gives the break down of the history of the founders and of the king majik they still ignored it right? either the deliberately ignored it like the OG poster said or they flat out wrote one he** of an inconsistent story line to make it sound "epic"

@Sword lover and i forgot to mention that i even texted my collegue to break down the text to see if maybe just maybe if i was interpreting the dialogue incorrectly and he's a literature professor.   and even said i understood properly i'm sequantial arts prophesor so its possible i did but he said no i understood it properly and its either a really bad translation or really poorly written or it means exactly what the original, poster stated. again if anyone cant read its just you my bud

@Sword lover i'm not an english professor so i don't really care about that but at least my reading comprehension skills are spot on unlike yours have a good day. reading and writing are two completely different things i'm not here to write a proper essay to turn in for a job interview. you result to those insults because you know you're wrong you deny to even reply properly to a post because you know you're wrong its all good
