@Mew Ever heard of trauma ? Being compared to someone by your own parents hurt more than you think. Don’t take this lightly just because you didnt live like this

@Oskia I know because I have read more manhwas where mcs suffer way more but don't act like he did. And he is a grown ahh man bruh, not a child or teen lmao.

@Mew just because they reacted a different way in all of the manhwas you've read doesn’t mean you should look down on someone's trauma tolerance, if this had a huge impact on him, his actions are completely normal. Comparing suffers is not okay, it’s not a competition in the end they all had trauma and they all had different reactions to it.

@Mew When I was really young I had an illness that made me throw up constantly, it's been already 10 years since I've been cured from that, but that didn't stop me from having panic attacks and anxiety, now that I'm an adult, every time I felt like I was going to throw up. Baek had a really difficult childhood where his career choice was making him suffer; discourage, doubt, comparisons and judgment was happening all at once from everyone he relied on, including his father, all of that at such young age, and what make it worse was his father dying, that alone can make the symptoms worse. If someone doesn't get help from people they care about or with a professional, panick attacks can be triggered like this. I also had people saying that I was exaggerating, "why are you freacking out for that? Just throw up already" but I can't help it, my body and my mind remembers what it felt like to experience that, it's difficult to move on, specially if that trauma had been a recurrent issue. My comment it's not to make you feel emphaty or understand why it makes sense, but it's for all those people who already understand and have experienced this as well, it's common, we just need to get help for our mental health, that's all

@Fake_user I am not reading all that. But yeah I got that u had a illness or wtv. I don't get why y'all are supporting him on full force. So hilarious. Comparison is not that deep literally. Nobody physically abused him at all. And his reactions are hella dramatic. Since y'all are talking about yourself, let me do it too. I have gone through a lot blud, I would say more than him (I don't usually compare trauma but nvm) but still don't react like this loll. A 31 year old grown a*s man reacting like this is so corny

@Mew Some people tend to be more resilient than others, like I said in my comment, mental health is a factor when people go through stressful events, in the next chapter Baek admits himself that he was just hyperventilating, but still how he reacts it's not to crazy or cringe tbh, specially when we see how he has experienced those same symptoms since he was a teenager, that's why he doesn't practice the sports anymore. There's infinite ways to react to something that scares us and honestly he reacts more normal than some people I know who has phobias for animals and other things even if they haven't experienced anything bad lol
