@Dolma Sherpa No, I don't understand. How many meals are you making when everyone is gone all day except you? How dirty is the house getting during the day when it's just you in it? In an office, you have to work with a lot more people than that, even more if you are in a customer service industry.
I own my own home, run my own business, I have 6 kids whom I homeschool and I cook and I clean. I know exactly how much effort is required for each of these things and you won't convince me that cooking and cleaning for 1 child who is at school most of the day and 1 husband who is at work most of the day is even close to the effort of working 50-60 hours per week in an office. I spent the better part of my morning today cooking breakfast and lunch from scratch for 9 people (grandparents were over) and answering phone calls for my business at the same time and you know what I wouldn't do? I wouldn't be bitter and unkind to my wife just because she needed a day off.
