VENT POST It's really sad that many girls, women maybe men are being sa'd and being abused.
Today I saw a news of a 8 year old girl being rpedby some disgusting men. It breaks my heart because no one deserves it. Such things are really affecting me and all the girls in our country.
Now it's a luxury for me to walk alone after 7pm alone .
I always were baggy clothes still some creep stares at me and other girls around my age
I am a Muslim myself but I beg Allah that Muslim or any religious political party may never form a gov.
If jamat comes in power in Bangladesh than i swear to g** I'm running out of this country
It's exhausting to see women being harrased everyday.
I wish for a miracle but I know it's not gonna come so easily

Let me tell you most people who are involved in this group are misogynistic, superstitious and many of them don't have proper education...
Believe me a few days ago a women who was just minding her own business was eve teased by some guys just because she didn't cover herself with another sheet of fabric over her kurti( orna)
She didn't show any skin but still... then woman filed a lawsuit.. but after realese he was welcomed with flowers and people were chanting for him.
If this party comes there will be no peace in this country....
People say they don't have a chance but a new part is being formed which has pretty similar mindset.
I'm really worried about my future in this country
@ILOVERAMEN so many men say if a woman shows skin she should cover up more but some Muslim women cover literally everything and it doesn't help because it's not about the woman it's about the men, men should be taught not to harm women at a young age and not expect sêx to be owed to them. Women are more likely to be rãped by someone she knows though so you really can't trust anyone
It's good thinking. But not all of men are monsters in this society. Men are also scared of being treated harsh way by women. Just an incident about how I feel around women ( don't know about others men in this ):
One day, I was walking in the road and saw a woman walking alone then she turn twice backwards and look at me up and down which scares me because I was wearing a black mask and glasses ( I don't think I look like pervert but the way the she look twice was scaring me ). Then I walk quickly and overtake the woman and walk so quickly. To the point that woman can't see me Infront of her and I can't see her behind me. Another incident like this had also happened with me and my friend. That time, me and my friend were going upstairs then he and me mistakenly saw the thing under the dress of that one girl who was near the stairs. He rotated his whole body and I rotated my head, so that we can't see that ( it was embarrassing ). Also, I feel insecure around most women and the only women I feel secure around are my mother and relatives and old womans who over 60 or more than that.
@Book that's nothing to compare to being rãped though, I also feel insecure around everyone if they are 13-30 because I'm insecure within myself but that's something I need to work on, something men need to work on
Reminder: there are both good and bad man in society. Just most people don't have the perception to judge and understand which man is good and bad but people do have the way of blaming man in a several way.
@Book there's a good reason for that when men are mostly the ones doing the rãping so it's hard for women to know who to trust and not too. I just looked it up and for England & Wales, 1 in 4 women have been rãped or sêxually assaulted and 1 in 18 men have been too.
Women have a fear of men because they don't want to be attacked so they get more fearful in the night. Men have fear around women because they don't want to be seen as less of a man and is a ego thing.
I also don't understand when men feel all nervous around women and treat us like we're some magical creature that is a new thing and don't know how to talk to us like just don't overthink it and talk to us normally
