@_deadflower_ correct me if I'm wrong but what I understand from this is, the emperor wants to secure the throne so he needs a child to have power or holy power to be used for him to secure the throne as a child that is weak cannot compete for the throne. So I think the ML is not the emperor real son, he is just used to secure the emperor throne and that's why he cannot become an emperor I think...

@Veabgl08 the emporer is simply jealous of his own bio son (he was scared that his son would take the throne from him). Cuz the son had more holy power than his dad, by age 2. So, to not kill the bio son, it was ordered to found a commonor with blond of silver hair and IMMENSE divine power, which is the ML.
So now that bio son has a rival to the throne, and they will have to wait until the emperor dies, for the throne to belong to someone. So the dad got what he wanted, which is to keep the throne the longest time possible.
