I said earlier "Why I forgive Takamada is because he never blames or gaslights Yu. He doesn't try to justify what he did and he swore to never do it again and has kept that promise." and "Like sure when Taka was still assaulting him he would be afraid, mad, annoyed etc. But after ep 30 I don't see Yu being intimidated by Taka at all."
So I wasn't talking about the beginning therefore you still didn't answer my question.
I was never arguing that Yu doesn't have trauma responses when is is being actively victimized (assaulted and blackmailed).
@HAHHAHAHA clearly you're the slow one who doesn'y understand anything. you're using your one argument of taka being a rapist in the past and running with it as your only argument. Tf clearly and concisely explained why they FORGIVE taka, but will not forget what he's done. yu has trauma, but he doesn't show signs of ptsd because he's mentally resilliant, copes with trauma differently, and eventually actually likes taka when he's being normal. finds him kinda cute. falls for him when taka finally hitting so many points of his sexual desires, even down to his most vulnerable that he didn't know he had, turns into him falling for yu and feeling so bad and guilty for what he's done that he apologizes, makes up for it and completely stops his predatory behaviors. you don't get to decide whether someone forgives their rapist. you can choose to forgive them if you feel like their changed behavior has been satisfactory or not, and you can choose not to forgive them if you feel their changed behavior doesn't change how you feel or erase the pain the trauma they gave you, gave you. the same can be said about a reader towards a fictional rapist. your opinion that you won't forgive him is reasonable, but to condemn others who forgive him bc he's a changed man who is clearly trying his best to open up and change for the person he hurt is wild, especially when majority irl rapists don't even come close to that. if you can't understand that the past is THE PAST and whatever trauma responses he had THEN don't pop up LATER, you're the idiot. Tf literally acknowledged yu's trauma multiple times, too.
