@Beeto that's the difference between talent with hardwork, talent, hardwork
Also the fact that mc still has the body of a child and the young duke has been working on his mana since childhood
@Harshonixil  you're missing the point, being more skilled shouldn't be said in this situation, like how does a boy who has barely been in a life and death situation be more skill than the MC who fought in a war, countless battle experience should shape his skill into a more refined form and said person is struggling with a boy yet to fight in a war..
@Beeto dude you have seen the duke's famil,I am pretty sure the young duke got a lot of hellish training and there is also the fact that they are both crazy plus the youngduke probably got a lot of secret op sword and mana techniques you might say the mc knows techniquesfrom future but he was still a poor commoner,so no ,and also after the regression the mc lost his buffed up tall body so he can't just be at 100 percent with a smaller shorter body .
@Harshonixil  I'm not saying the MC should be at 100 percent, it seems you're intentionally missing the point.. How can a boy that is still a teenager be more skill than a man who regressed after fighting in a war for years.. Even if the MC can't execute most of his skills due to body size then that should have been the statement not "his more skilled than i am" it makes the MC's battle experience look and sound like child's play..
Like what! trollface sticker
@Beeto then are you saying that the empires greatest swordsmanship family dose not have the ability to teach good secret sword skills that only the main family knows,it makes it seems like the swordmaster duke's family sounds like child's play. And of you are forgetting the young duke is the future sword saint so he also has huge potential
@Harshonixil  bruhhh! You're talking about potential in a situation where "what you know is what you show" and the MC couldn't even show sh**, with the excuse that a teenager is more skilled than him. And what skill can the empires so called swordsmanship family teach a boy and make him more skilled than a man who fought in a war and has multiple near death experiences making his senses and skills more refined, precise and dangerous.. The author just threw whatever conversation he could find in this chapter cause it wasn't even supposed to be said..
@Beeto the difference is that one can use both mana and aura, while the mc can only see them. So he's basically on equal standing as him by only using his sword skills and experience.
