@Hng Yes it has consequences, I amnit denying it . But it still was the most rational choice he could take in that situation though. And Annette was suicidal few months ago, and he hears the news that she was transferring medical supplies during bullet fire. So ofc he would think she went there to die, and will do what he can to transfer her to safe side.

@Ecxe yes she is safe. BUT THIS IS NOT WHAT SHE WANTS. She already MADE A DECISION. To be in the frontlines. She already weighted everything. Even the fact that she may lose her life. THE POINT IS THE ML CANT RESPECT HER CHOICE. butting in making a decision in her stead. And at a bad timing at that. Alright it might be safe for her BUT DOES SHE WANT IT? He should have communicated first before making the decision. And when I mean communicated it can be through other ways such as a third person or letter blahblah if they can't talk face to face. As you said how can he know if he's close with the people there? HE IS THE COMMANDER. HE HAS HIS WAYS.
