@TotallyAbsurd if you want high quality fiction and plot, you shouldn't be reading manhwa. It's like junk food literature: It's fun and wonderful and sometimes exactly what you need, but don't complain about it not being a five course meal.
If you want a higher standard, go read Naomi Novick, James Patterson, Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson or Mave Binche
