Using the amnesia trope to cover the usual shoujo tropes of feigning ignorance, pretending to be dumb, not hearing the only important dialogues even when they are screamed right into your eardrums, not saying the whole thing when not down right lying by omission with perfectly crafted words with the only purpose of creating misunderstandings about things that were already misunderstood..
I'm afraid it doesn't make it a better story than the usual shoujo slop.
