@M.Monroe Barbuda sounds beautiful :) Was the hurricane destruction widespread? You mentioned it's not the same, but maybe their crime level isn't as bad as Antigua? Is the curfew in your country for youth or does it apply to everyone? I was just wondering because you said most of the crime is by minors. It's really unfortunate that that's happening 😞 And if they don't start taking it seriously, like catching the culprits, then it's just going to get worse. Are you thinking of leaving? Because it might be the best option if you can do it. Even Barbuda might be a better option... Did you meet Prince Harry in person? 🙂
@Jem yeah the destruction was widespread. But I hear they are building it better than before with large hotels and restaurants. And I'm 100% sure the crime is lower as when lived there, there wasn't an crime to begin with. Not a single robbery or anything.
The curfew is only for minors. And the kids doing the crime said because there is a curfew in place now, they will attack school Kids after summer ends🤦
AND. I was out today and there were police vehicles everywhere. So I think something is being done to limit crimes committed in the open as we had a lot of those too.
I am thinking of leaving soon, I just want to compete school here and go to an art college somewhere overseas.
Yes I did meet him in person😅 I was right next to him and he gave some of us hugs (including me) I don't remember exactly hope the gift looks, but we have him a large wooden slate with carvings of the national bird and some plants I think.
