@Cocoa i dont really know the situation but i had something similar. Seems like he prob has been with his gf for a long time and foes not wanna break it off with her as some sort of sympathy. But i am gonna ve honest one year is too much for you to deal with this. So you can just make it clear to yourself and him. I know you are worried about the fact that he is also your best friend but st this point there is no going back cuz ur hurting urself in the process of trying to keep the friendship and having feelings for him. Thid guys seems undecided on what he wants and i dont think it is you who has to "make or help" him decide what to do cuz the outcome will be blamed on you. So what i suggest and what i did aswell is be strict on ur feelings. Tell yourself this is where you stop. If the possibility arises you can talk it out with him so you will have a better closure. At the moment me and that guy dont talk anymore and i feel good that way cuz being like a rebound ( him callin and flirting with me even tho i thinkhe did not have any feelings towards me AND was also with a girl at the time) was definitely bad.
