Kael was supposed to rush up to hestia, basically tackle her onto the floor, and start crying while embracing her. Thinking she was about to commit death! And he stayed with her the whole night, crying as he slept beside hesita.In the novel it was intimate and so much more in depth than this :( WHY DID HE JUST WALK IT OFF LIKE NOTHING!?

@MisoSoup yes this is one of my favorite part in the novel. Kael didnt want to let her go after that incident. He kept on crying. And my fave part also their first snu snu. Before Kael left for negotiation. They finally did it. Lol. I hope they would give it to us. I wanna see it in manhwa.

And as far as I remember Hestia has not been allowed to go out during that time... I can't exactly remember how it goes since it being a long time that I read the novel
This is a different scene. Kael's break down will happen after he comes back from the negotiations, and they'll soon leave for Hestia's territory to get away from eveything about revenge and Helios and Diana. They'll stay there for a few years iirc, and when they come back, Helios and Diana's marriage fell apart even more during the time our OTP was up north living their happy lives. PLUS when they come back to the capital, they will find out that Hestia is pregnant, and the pregnancy sparked or became the catalyst (somehow) for Helios and Diana's divorce bcs then, Heli asked Diana to choose between bearing the imperial heir or divorce their marriage bcs Heli thought their marriage is beyond repair at this point so he wants to at least make Diana choose for her life.
