@nobleturtle well i get what youre trying to say but being emotionally neglected by your parents alters your way of looking at them. the child will only see thing in a subjective way, the "hurt and alone" way and its absolutely normal for them and making them look outside of the box is just... funny, because you wouldn't say that to your friend being sad about their partner not loving them?? lack of love means lack of love and what comes after should not be held accountable by none other than the person that did not give wanted attention. the character's behaviour is the effect of emotional neglect, that's all - some of the children are passive aggressive and some won't even make a noise next to other person. so please do not say such things, even though i understand your intention.

SORRY FOR THE YAPPING BUT AAAAAAH

@fairy as someone who was also neglected as a child, I'd like to say I don't think it gives you the green card to be mean towards others. He is an adult now, he should be able to cope in a different way and regulate his emotions correctly. His trauma is no excuse for his abusiveness. As I said before I was also neglected, but never have I ever was jerk towards people because of it. As much as I resent my parents I was never disrespectful to them because I can also see their side of the story. But hey maybe that's just me🤷♀️
