i believe that this story itself isnt MMA centred, its more directed towards the love life main arrogant character w complicated personality
its a sm** bl, i dont think i can expect anything more than covering the professional career just from the surface
plus i feel adding CTE concept would make joo come off as a brutal character
no matter how injuries leading to stuff like CTE r normal in boxing and MMA
but i like ur idea
think im gonna read the manga aswell
plus if the author had added the romantic tragedy concept, yes it would've worked to make joo realize and become humble and more mature
author hasnt even introduced us to the reason why joo is like this, how the guy he fought w knew him and why they wanted him to fail so bad that they sabotaged him
story needs to be more open rather than just joo and dan having issues w each other which well, needs to be solved aswell but ykwim.. the story has yet alot of stuff that author left us questioning
i hope the plot turns for the better scenario than this
but i dont think we r gonna go any deeper into MMA stuff than this, it will make the story complicated and divert all focus of the story towards the fights, leaving all the unexplained stuff behind
but im no author, its their job to find the pathways back and fro to make the story more interesting
