@Harlock peace is obtainable on a grand scale, but not on a small scale. neighborhood conflicts are always going to occur, that's why we have the police. The desire for more is hardcoded into our DNA. Capitalism is the best way we've found to allow this urge to drive an economy towards a positive outcome. Even so, capitalism without controls will lead to corporatism, which is just socialism where the corporations are in control instead of the elite. That's why American Capitalism, where the government has the right to break up corporations, or simply stop mergers they believe will negatively effect the free market, has become the guiding light that other developed nations based their free markets upon... unfortunately we are all falling into the same pitfall now, which is not using that power often enough.
Socialism requires everyone to have the same system of beliefs, which is why small communities centered around a church have been able to be successful with it. Communism is socialism, except with a dictator instead of a small group of elites controlling the helm.
Both communism and socialism requires altruism, which goes against human nature. Jesus Christ was not thought of as the son of G** because he SAID he was the son of G**; he was thought of as the son of G** because he was an altruist in its purist sense. The apostles who followed him were there more to keep people from taking advantage of him than anything else. To never think of ones self, and to only think of others, to only DO for others, to sacrifice for strangers, that was the true miracle of Jesus Christ. btw, I'm not christian, I just think that the man was amazing because there is no way in he** that I would wash the feet of Kamala Harris just because she got some toe fungus. And unless you'd be willing to wash the feet of Donald Trump just because he got some toe fungus...
