@Iris Yuki this right here, cause I get where he's coming from, but if I experience something like this after helping someone that was bullied, I'd definitely not want to help someone else

@Rikki Think about it from your own perspective.
If you were so powerful that you could kill anyone standing in front of you, would you really care about some random person trying to oppose you? Would their actions even matter to you?
When someone gains overwhelming power, their mindset naturally changes. Powerful people often start seeing ordinary people as insignificant—not necessarily as “ants,” but simply as people who cannot affect them in any meaningful way.
From the MC’s perspective, even if he doesn’t literally think normal people are ants, the reality is that he can do anything to them. Because of that, he doesn’t feel threatened or emotionally affected. That’s why he calls it a “trivial matter.”
It’s not that he openly disrespects them. It’s just that he has never viewed them as equals.
I’m not saying the MC directly looks down on everyone. I’m saying that when someone holds overwhelming power, they stop caring about how ordinary people see them, because those people no longer have any real influence over their life.

I agree with you completely! you’re right if we look at it from our own perspective. However, in a real-life situation, seeing a victim bullied while a crowd of bystanders watches and ignores them sets a terrible example for society. If you have the ability to help, you should—though I don't believe you should needlessly risk yourself. This story only focuses on the negative consequences of intervening. I want to emphasize that helping isn't always a bad thing; if it’s within your capability, it can literally save a life. This plot is frustrating because it ignores the positive impact that helping a victim can have.
