@Figgyfrac to be fair, the emperor was drugged and raped by the empress and forced to conceive a child with her that he never wanted. It's understandable that he would want to distance himself from the empress at all costs, and unfortunately that would've also included his son.

@Sugarhoneyicedtea yeah weirdly? I'm not fair to child abusers. Call it a personality flaw. Someones trauma isn't an excuse to hurt others. Everyone has reason for what they do or how they became that way. Ask any inmate ever. Imma draw a hard and harsh line tho and say I don't care.
@Sugarhoneyicedtea idk but ever heard of children shouldn't pay for their parents sin? It's the same ... Like if u have read I'm only a stepmother but my daughter is so cute... He was raped at the age if 15 but still provided his daughter even though that whole thing is traumatic to him he even changed over time.... Everyone goes through sh** no reason to be sh** towards others the only way u make a difference is by not being the way ur abuser was
