From chapter 1, I saw several similarities with Kingdom manga:
- armor
- country
- ancient and medieval setting
- murim abilities, which may seem magical to an ancient man's perspective, but not so widely different with the Hi Hyou's.
- And then there's the young chief with THAT POSE. They're a martial people with long history that may have reached the Spring and Autumn wars. If there's a crossover, they may be the descendants of hermetic people like the Hi Hyou or of the Bushins
- Art. Kingdom manga begins with a really shi*** art style (I don't hate the manga, it's my favorite, just stating the art history). But it slowly improved over the next volumes... Will this manga's art style improve? (Not saying it's anything 🤐)
- Action scenes: both are impressive in the display of gratuitous and over the top deaths - my kind of tea.
- Both MCs are capable warriors and commanders and that's all I can say for now. I suck at character deep dives.
