She felt that Kael standing up for Diana was a big betrayal especially after everything she did to bring her down from the princess position. She didn't know that the only reason he did it was because Helios begged him.
Helios later explains it to her but it honestly didn't help. Like you said getting revenge for Kael was the only thing that was helping her get up in the morning, when he forgave both Helios and Diana she felt that she didn't have a purpose anymore.
