@Mioumiou I'm pretty sure she was never interested in being empress either. She's committing to being empress now because she no longer holds any affection for Alec (platonic or otherwise) due to his actions, but also doesn't really have any alternative avenue in life due to her prior status. I don't think she married him for the sole goal of becoming empress, though.
@BlueBay I'm agree. She wasn't greedy or anything, the only thing she wanted was Independence. And she finally got it
@Mioumiou it was helena's mother and the empress who forced her to be with the blonde bas****. She was not greedy for anything, rather she sympathized and understood fl more and wanted to be her friend or just by her side that's why she was even ready to die by her hands.
@Gep Being an empress is dependent, not independent. Since everything she has comes from being married to a man...f*ck patriarchy. Anyways, if you mean that she wants to live without having someone hold her hand, then yeah, in that sense, she'd be independent in her role. She wants to use her own abilities as a person to do her job as an empress now.
