the half right part, yes if we would have a common enemy who endangers us all, than you would be right.
BUT
would humanity realy let their old grudges go and help the ones who were once their deathbeat foes or would they put everything to protekt their own borders?
and the reason wy you are full wrong is, they could travel several-thousends of times faster than the light, in a space filled with asteroids, planets and suns. they would fly so fast that they could not even see the way before them. what means, their defence is so strong that they could crush trought a planet without scratching the paint on their spaceship. now think about how their weapons would be.
now think pls, would they even notice if we would trow all our weapons at them at the same time?
i bet they would not even notice it.
