That earing been existed long before he met yoojin. If he tried to remember what happened to the current timeline from his old perspective then that earing is still with him and not with yoojin. In the original timeline, he only met with yoojin and get close just a couple months before sh*** happens and he have to erased yoojin's memory, which means they only met 8 years after the dungeon appearance. But in the current timeline, it's 5 years to the past, which means it only 3 years after the dungeon appearance. That's a huge gap there. At this time of year he definitely hadn't get close to yoojin yet, this event wasn't exist even in his previous memory cuz it shouldn't happen yet. Meanwhile the earring, he never given that item in the original timeline, he always have that with him right from the start 🤷🏻♀️
