who does older hyunje have no memories of yoojin? they met in previous life and had quite intimate(?) relationship. plus he was also supposed to have lost one arm and one eye.

It's only a fragment, it's not the full memory. He won't remember that many detail, tho he still remember who yoojin is. And for the physical appearance, it's not like a different body suddenly popped out. It's just the memory, meanwhile the physical body is of the current hyunjae after the regression. Tho much much later in the chapter yoojin will meet the hyunjae before regression in a dungeon, the one that lost one eye and one arm, and no longer use chain as his weapon

well if its only a fragment then why does he remember his earrings better than a human?
@yosef he is simply getting confused because some or all memory came in his mind ,like getting reincarnated after dying in other world but in his case he have some great sensitive enough to feel something was different and then his mind get flooded with future memory

That earing been existed long before he met yoojin. If he tried to remember what happened to the current timeline from his old perspective then that earing is still with him and not with yoojin. In the original timeline, he only met with yoojin and get close just a couple months before sh*** happens and he have to erased yoojin's memory, which means they only met 8 years after the dungeon appearance. But in the current timeline, it's 5 years to the past, which means it only 3 years after the dungeon appearance. That's a huge gap there. At this time of year he definitely hadn't get close to yoojin yet, this event wasn't exist even in his previous memory cuz it shouldn't happen yet. Meanwhile the earring, he never given that item in the original timeline, he always have that with him right from the start 🤷🏻♀️
