@Joel I understand you, i can give tips if its an android, rooting should fix most of the problem(be careful if you do so, and if you do it then choose magisk root cuz it can bypass the safety net, wich allows you to use most of the apps that detect root)
@Joel just search for "is (device name) android?" if yes then search for "how to root (device name) with magisk?" and then search for "how to bypass safety net with magisk (month/year)?"
@Joel Its like, unlock super powers on it, like you if you root it you can make a swap(use storage as ram), you can change the boot animation and if you install a custom recovery you can even change the entire system, if it suport generic system images you can even put linux or windows on it
@Void Flow for the record, I'm not one, but just assume I'm a boomer who doesn't understand technology Also I'm not gonna do some weird stuff to my cheap 4 y/o phone, it's already nearing the end of its life span, I'm gonna use it peacefully for the time being
