@Joel Its like, unlock super powers on it, like you if you root it you can make a swap(use storage as ram), you can change the boot animation and if you install a custom recovery you can even change the entire system, if it suport generic system images you can even put linux or windows on it
@Joel Oh, also if you have the custom recovery and compile one custom kernel you can even overclock it
