@RoyOskid this is incorrecto. Your example is flawed, heavily, heavily flawed. All priests accept donations and use those donations to do their charity work and church upkeep, as well as feed themselves x.x A corrupt priest demands donations beyond what the faith subscribes (between 2-10% of your yearly income or you can participate in charity work is the usual), using their position to take advantage of their followers, and, sad as it is, using the church as the cover for illegal activity such as drug and slave trafficking.
The first church is not an example of a good priest is the major issue -.- There are churches that have homeless shelters, health insurance programs for those in need, and even no interest loans if, persay, your house burns down. A good church can be a perfect example of socialism at times, where the entire community comes together and everyone helps each other without relying on government programs. It's because of this you get a lot of religious individuals that don't understand the need for a government having social programs "people can just help each other" x.O; not everyone is so nice.
