yeah cus he call him "thing" "that thing" "little thing" the whole time. I dont know why the translation translate it wrong to "dear" "baby" "kid" but I think it's auto-translation but in the raw, "that thing" is pretty degrading

I wonder if the translators intentionally used pet names to sway our perspective..... but then I reamember the dying plant described as flourishing
