Idk what to say about the last pic... Yes for me, Romeo and Juliet in the real life story is a tragedy but they are real love. Yes maybe I didn't know the full story but it's, well, love. But this shiet is making me go bruh, fck off with Juliet please Romeo, don't get closer to this little happy family you little shiet... Can someone tell me the story of R&J in this manhwa is real real or just something the author thought of? If it's the truth then, well, it's time to grown up and face the truth.

@M A I In the original Romeo and Juliet the two of them are 13 and had met like once and then dragged several people into their teenage "love" shenanigans and it ends with multiple people dead, including but not limited to Romeo and Juliet themselves. Romeo was a hot headed fuckboi and Juliet was a naive narcissist I.e. teenagers. The fact that to this day they are touted as "true love" or "starcrossed lovers" baffles me. True love is work and time. True love is unwavering loyalty, trust, and care that has faced trials and still said "I have seen the best and worst of you and still you are the only one I want". They had the fiery passion of youth mixed with the excitement of a secret and the knowledge of doing something wrong and against their parents wishes.
Sorry. You got me started on my R&J rant. Out of all the Shakespearean plays I hate it the most. I mean it had some bars but the story itself is problematic and ripped a lot of the source material from greek mythology (I think its...Pyramus and Thisbe?) I mean tragic lovers is a tale as old as time and is always a bittersweet thing and is always something appealing to everyone because its a fantasy. That type of love isnt long term and if they characters dont die we learn how toxic it is. Theyre like fireworks, goes up quick, explodes into a beautiful light and color, then fades into nothing and we all forget about it.
@Figgyfrac Thank you, I don't mind your rant since it's very helpful for me. I haven't watch or read R&J since I don't like it very well, but everyone say it's love. Well this maybe just throw everything I said above in the trash but I never got to see the full R&J story stuff lol, just heard it from the older people around saying it love and stuff... Well how you look at this bruh story, time to grow up now
@M A I btw only major dif i see rn is that in original R and J Rosaline was said to have ingnored Romeo causing the heartbroken Romeo to go to the Capulet party where he meets Juliet and their whole implusive and wayyyyy too rushed love begins.
