@M A I In the original Romeo and Juliet the two of them are 13 and had met like once and then dragged several people into their teenage "love" shenanigans and it ends with multiple people dead, including but not limited to Romeo and Juliet themselves. Romeo was a hot headed fuckboi and Juliet was a naive narcissist I.e. teenagers. The fact that to this day they are touted as "true love" or "starcrossed lovers" baffles me. True love is work and time. True love is unwavering loyalty, trust, and care that has faced trials and still said "I have seen the best and worst of you and still you are the only one I want". They had the fiery passion of youth mixed with the excitement of a secret and the knowledge of doing something wrong and against their parents wishes.
