just because you give her your so called "love and affection" doesn't mean she has to drop everything for you and be with you, and if you expect her to just because you did something a friend does, then you must not actually care about her at all. you're not anything special, you're just a person with ulterior motives, she's better off not ever being with you for that alone. she deserves someone who actually cares about her. because if you actually cared about her, then you would be happy for her regardless of what you think you deserve, and would think to consider what she wants, rather than thinking about yourself and what you want. you're just a selfish, self-proclaimed "nice guy" lol
