I was initially reading the series because there was supposed to be deep hatred and need for revenge in MC, but now the family heads are all painted pink and fulffy with somewhat decent personalities, evil stepmom who was presented as a cunning bitsh also had a redemption arc, and the MC's supposed main rival from the family he needs to take revenge on is cooperating with him and their rivalary is somewhat childish. Am I supposed to stay here for demon slaying action ? Fighting demons is the main new thing that is going to be or what, where is the series going...

@Rk 500 years ago things isn't as transparent as it seems as everything in the future was fabricated to the point that it seems unreal and the whole thing about a demon whose name is exactly like MC's, so it isn't that unlikely that demons are involved.
But I do understand that it is annoying that it isn't a rivalry between families/brothers. But idk why you said childish as their families are still rivals but if they don't do anything about the rivalry mc has with him then for me, yes it's childish

@Rk either you have very little patience or you dont read enough manhwas/huas these types of things are usually introduction to the actual plot the revenge is very deep rooted but to achieve that he has to get a higher position in family and get strong its only just starting what else do you want
@Stardust I mean that the rivalry is very, very superficial, almost like a sport one. They are gathering from time to time for duels and some c** measuring but they still joke around and don't go for each other's heads. At no point I feel worried about MC, always his mommy shows up, his uncle shows up, his rivals guard shows up, the dude has an insanely thick plot armor and again, the series feels... bland now.
@Vergil First, it's just getting started ? lil bro, it's 109 chapters in. Second, if you had a sliver of reading comprehension, you would understand that I'm alluding to the fact that he has no one to take revenge on at this point. Even the head of the 'Archnemesis' family is somewhat likeable. The brat from the enemy family is annoying sure, but he is strong and from a reputable family, hence his arrogance, but It's sufferable, he doesn't feel psychotic or like the guy who actually killed MC, nowhere near. What is the point of all the setup of this manhwa, if the fighting is going to be done against demons ? There are better manhwas out there about fighting demons, where it was the intention all long, take even reformation of a deadbeat noble. They could somewhat save the manhwa if they portrayed the descendants of the guy who killed him as total maniacs, so it would make sense, but they didn't.

@kr thats thw point dude its only been a hundred chapter in which you think the family head evil one is a good one but the manhwa was always hinted to be a big one as if you have noticed the 500 year change in history cant be answered in just a hundered chapters and the reason to show the dragon kin not the demons(talk about reading comprihension) have something to do with it your are just jumping to conclusions with no basis and speculating
