@Fayfay the chapters leading up to this frames the current opponent to be someone impossible for him to beat with his current state. 

What bothers me is that he didn't need to change to defeat him. Not a new view, not a revelation. Just a spec bump.

Following this trend, we just have to wait on what the next spec bump would be. But it will steel feel the same.
