Ch. 13

Yeah, I get what you’re saying about his family’s influence—it does matter that Juhyeok grew up around Alpha pheromones. But what you overlooked is that in the early chapters (around ch 1–3), the doctor explicitly states that Juhyeok FIRST presented as an Alpha during his initial secondary gender screening (his mom even confirmed it). Then suddenly turned as a recessive Omega overnight, which is exactly why the doctor questioned whether he’d been exposed to strong external pheromones. His family alone doesn’t explain that shift, if anything, he would’ve built some level of resistance or immunity to his family’s pheromones over time—especially since he USED to be an alpha himself as a child and was raised by them. A drastic switch like that realistically points to exposure to a far more dominant pheromone—Su Ah’s.

Sure, they were kids back then, so the early exposure may not have been intentional. But the dependency didn’t just come from accidental contact. Su Ah literally ADMITTED he’s been intentionally scenting Juhyeok ever since he became an Omega. That’s not passive influence—that’s sustained interference that went beyond normal biology.

That’s why Juhyeok isn’t only resistant to suppressants now—you forgot that he's become resistant to other Alphas’ pheromones too. It's not as if he's clinging out of desire or malice, it’s because THAT'S the only way he can stay stable. He’s even said he wants to stop depending on Su Ah and reclaim his autonomy. But Su Ah consistently ignores boundaries, which is why everything is this tangled. Family history matters, yes—but you can't ignore the years of intentional interference.
