@NZT based on your logic, all strong villains/enemies in history would have been made great knights in this scenario since they have good strength though they may kill you later...it was already suspicious that he looked like a person working with the villains since he was acting like a know it all....she could have chosen anyone else other than him based on trust and strength.....at most he could have selected as an Advisor not as a leader...good luck 🤞
