@I luv lowtideinTwilight I am an avid yaoi reader. I don't have anything against yaoi readers. I'm just tired of 99% of yaois being the exact same in this regard (which is the authors' faults for being lazy and just copying tropes). It actually does hurt people. Teenagers and young adults grow up on almost 0 gay representation on TV and only see gay relationships depicted in ao3 and yaoi. They have no reference for what a real gay relationship is supposed to look like, and that's how you end up with stalkers, abusers, and toxic relationships. I want to fight these authors because the lack of consent isn't BDSM. It's just insensitive. There are yaois where the r*pe is acknowledged as r*pe and that's just the f*tish it caters to, but most yaois are supposed to be 'romantic' yet still depict dating vi*lence like it's normal.

@Nelson Mandela while you are not wrong this is not the time or place and you are projecting you have just admitted to skipping over 63 chapters and making wild assumptions and calling what is happening here unconsensual which it is NOT full consent and confession of feeling AND time apart to confirm as much has taken place. there is something to be said about SA in ALL stories yaoi or not being used as a cheep plot and the impact that has but children who should not even be reading sm** to begin with. doesnt matter if they see gay relationships all relationships regardless of orientation should and can depict what a healthy dynamic looks like but it isnt books jobs to model them. starts at home and real life interations. stalkers etc are not mentally well to begin with that is like saying video games cause violence when they do NOT.
@Nelson Mandela ngl. I'm too dumb to understand most of what your saying.. What i'm just gonna say is.If anyone actually reads yaoi. Then think that's how all gay relationships are. Then that person is just stupid. Its not the authors fault if that person has one brain cell... We shouldn't fight with a author who just makes mangas for the weirdly fetish people. Because what's the point of fighting? It won't stop, people will get upset and frustrated. And its just not worth it..please for anyone who doesn't like these types of manga, please dont read. Amen
