@Pipi I agree on the gross factor, this was normal at the time. Not an excuse!!!!! I believe (based on context) that he didn't touch her at all until she was 20 in the og timeline. It's not great but there are plenty men from that time who forced themselves on women at that age. Once again, it's still disgusting!!!

@Pipi its a political marriage, yes, she was 9yo when married but that doesn't mean that she's forced to share bed or have a wedding night at that age, even in our history european nobles married as kids normally didn't share bed till have 14, 15 or 16 yo, yes, other cultures didn't care even this...
