@Prinzinc I do agree that women are hypergamous, there is no doubt whatsoever about that. I simply do not agree with the preselection bias to specifically target men that are already taken as you indicated before. I did read about studies regarding this in the past year and some women do NOT want men that are already taken, even if they do want men that are physically attractive or have other very positive aspects to them that are easily represented on a 1st impression like money, influence, power and so on. Although, i would argue that men aren't that different in that regard.
So that's why i said it's up to debate, as written in said articles... mostly because it was a social study presented through a university thesis and i felt that reading it for curiosity sake.
