I think there's a lot of bullying cases at schools in Korea so the author probably wanna show us what it's like.

yes, in korea bullying is a big issue, that's why you can see bullies in manhwa so much

Bullying is an issue in most countries except ones with good laws ig

yeah, my mom is korean and when my parents got divorced she was going to take me and my sister to korea but when she found out my sexuality she decided to keep us in Britain so i wouldn't get bullied.
in korea the bullying is quite different, when you get bullied over there it's quite common for there to be quite a lot of physical peer-on-peer abuse as well as mental abuse.
basically, it's a really big issue over there, they're really racist, homophobic and quite sexist over there.
