guys, I don't know if I'm a le*** or straight or even bi, I mean I dated girls and boys in the past, but I never felt that "butterfly" feeling, you know? Like I dated girls because I thought I had feelings for them, even for boys, but I found out I never actually did. I don't know if it's because it kept me excited or idk, but I just never experienced that butterfly feeling, maybe I am asexual or idk, because every person I date I actually feel empty or I just force myself to actually like them, but idk im confuse

@Kelly You just never been in love before from what you said. I have been several times. Some good and some bad. I was in unrequited love for 8 years.

Just let life happen, it's okay to just not know. If you don't feel the butterfly feeling, then no need to force yourself. Just lean back and live your life.
if the butterfly feeling comes one day, then cool, if not, then cool too. Maybe you just need more time to get to know a person, or maybe you just don't try with the right ones, maybe you just don't love. All of the above are okay and totally valid, so take a deep breather and look at what you want. Do you want a lover? Or do you just want to fit in?

Because from my experience, if you can't love, then you wouldn't really care. But if you really crave a relationship, then you just haven't figured out your type yet.
