@Whatever wait so she becomes ugly for the rest of her life or was it just temporary? Also i don't get it does varkas leave her to get hurt or he just didn't know that she was hurt?

The thing is we really just see it from her perspective and everyone looking at her leg as if scared and disgusted she looks weak and out of life on the outside.. her mother said smtg like unsightly things become object of ridicule and contempt. She believes she is ugly and that even ml wouldn't marry someone like her in this state... the wyern attack happened after varkas left her to run after ayla. Her mother planned the attack. They all assumed she was dead when the initially do start looking for her she was found under rocks and boulders... that crushed her leg. Idk about how they treated her idk if the replaced her entire leg or smtg but she has a long scar on her shin and she scratches her leg a lot so it doesn't really recover that well until later
