@Tetiana you're absolutely right. Analytical is the wrong word choice. I should have gone with cautious or guarded because he is insecure. I can't blame him though. His experience so far makes his insecurities very real. What Garam needs to hear from Jaehyuk is thoughtfulnes and understanding not another chaotic scheme. Jaehyuk can provide reassurance. Demonstrate that he sees Garam's fears and that they can take their time coming out as a couple. Jaehyuk started as a homophobic fu** boy absolutely unserious and irresponsible. Then announces he's gay and now he's not. He's often caught up in the moment and says or does whatever. Why would someone as cautious and anxious as Garam trust that Jaehyuk could be discreet or understand the real cost of coming out? I mean Jae's whole approach here is to come full circle to fu** buddies. He isn't even giving Garam a chance to step up and take responsibility. Jae isn't giving Garam space to figure out his sh** and come to Jae and be accountable. Because he's afraid that Garam won't come to him. Jaehyuk has always been insecure about Garam's feelings and that Garam doesn't return his affection equally. They are always at odds because their fears don't align and they don't know how to to meet each other in the middle. I think Jae should have let Garam alone. I think Garam would return to Jae because he's genuinely inlove with him.

@TeamLeewon I agree on leaving Garam alone as a better choice of action for Jaehyuk, and probably in general when two people in a relationship have different views on living in the closet vs. coming out. This wouldn't suit Jaehyuk's character, though: he plunges in every situation fully straightforward, stepping aside is not an option for him if he wants smth dearly. Extreems meet, as they say. Garam might be a total opposite to Jaehyuk as far as their characters are concerned, buy maybe that's the most effective way to help Garam cope with his anxieties: left alone, he'd probably calm down somewhat, but I doubt he'd deal his fears on his own. He's very insecure. And stubborn as he thinks Jaehyuk's coming out might be a bother to him as well. Garam doesn't seem to check that other people might not care at all about all this. So here he consciously keeps to his insecurities.
Sure, the author will find the way to put everything right, and I think that's the right choice to put Garam through Jaehyuk's "foolishness". He needs to see another side to being gay - when others don't care how you live your life, that is.
