yall this is REALLY OFF TOPIC but how do yall live your lives apart from reading manhwas? I am supposed to be studying for my remaining final exams (i have chem in some hours) i dont really see the point in anything and everything feels unreal. my friends told me not to stress about finals cuz imma get a percent more than passing percentage based on my performance. i never had hopes or dreams for my future and didnt expect to make it this far in life, i kinda am disappointment to my parents and i always feel like im running out of time but i still do nothing about it and waste more time. I recently thought about it and making my own webtoons and animations sounds like a good idea maybe (id say im good at drawing but i dont find time to do much) and yk what , being a pro figure skater sounds soo coool and fun (im athletic but never did figure skating cuz its not that popular in my country ) . lol i dunno what im saying, any suggestions or advice ?
I love ORV and No home with my whole life
Spoiler!
Very suicidal since 12 but then realised the manhwas I was reading weren't finished so I'm still alive 😔

@bl_loverr Hey, this is really random but I can kind of relate. There are times in life where you just don't feel like anything has meaning, I can't give you any "cure" for this but to do what you are passionate about, hearing you're still in school means you're still young, you can achieve anything you set your mind to ! Dedicate time to achieve your goals, don't compare yourself to others, talk to your friends, parents or family about how you feel, connecting with people helps in so many ways. I'm 31 but feel like some old grandpa giving advice 😅 Keep it up, you've got this 🔥
@bl_loverr I'm 18 and just cruising rn going to college and studying to be a chef while working s a chef and a Gardner aswell been keeping up with eleceed for the last 5 years and have loved it every week also just chase ur dreams lmao

I've made lots of mistakes,  but what I've learned is to try to find something you enjoy doing.  If you can find away to make money to pay your bills it's a bonus.  I'm a cashier at a grocery store,  I don't love it, but I've had way worse jobs.
@bl_loverr

just finish your exams. finish school and then figure out what you wanna do. Webtoons and animation are a lot more work than just studying for exams, just being good at drawing doesn't cut it. Figure skating is a brutal sport. If you can't even finish school, what makes you think that you can realistically keep up with the extremely demanding effort it takes to be good enough at "cool and fun" jobs to make a living? Finish one thing before starting something new because you can't run if you haven't learned how to walk. Feeling like you're running out of time or being stuck is a universal experience. Many people go through these struggles in life, especially when we're young. You're not actually running out of time because you're young and have your whole life ahead of you. Try organizing your thoughts on paper, write down short term and long term goals and how you can achieve them, maybe you will feel less lost.

Who cares if you're a disappointment to your parents! Their approval only has as much value as you choose. Living for your parents approval will never make you happy, because you won't be living for yourself but for them and frankly, that doesn't sound much like living to me.

I do recommend therapy or counseling, it helped me when I felt lost and stuck in life. It taught me how to actually live life and not just survive.

@bl_loverr 👋 I always thought about why I was like this when I was young. I don't fully know yet, but one way to speed up the process of finding what you want to do/be is to actually look at other people. Don't compare yourself to them. Just look and ask what are they doing, what are their dreams, how are they living their lives.

Imagine you have a blank paper infront of you and you should do something with it. Your mind will probably stay blank for a while thinking what to do. One way to speed the process is to look at everyone around you and ask them what they are doing. One guy decided to make a boat. One guy decided to draw an apple. One guy decided to make a mask. One guy decided to prove gravity exists using that same paper. It's not cheating. It's not an exam. You can get ideas from everyone around you and then do what you think is fun. Good luck 🍎
@bl_loverr

Im in sortve the next stage from your situation since i finished school only a few months ago and am trying to find out what i may truly be wanting to do as a job for the rest of my life and honestly it all doesnt really change your in the same situation pretty much except you have more time on your hands to think about it all, and i can relate with how you feel with not seeing any point for most things and how alot of stuff doesnt feel real ive thought that way for quite alot of things for the last 3-4 years or so and i still am thinking that way honestly and i cant see myself changing the way i think about it and with your grades im not sure what kind of person you are with that like if your someone that WANTS or NEEDS to pass but i pretty much never cared about my grades to the disappointment of my parents so i just wouldnt study at all until the day before or night before the exams happened and if i passed then i passed i didnt worry about it but that was me others are different but dont get me wrong i still paid attention in class whenever i could.

honestly idk what im doing by replying to you saying all this and not even answering the question you asked but i guess here i am just dumping all this information out so i guess just do what you want whether its figure skating or creating your own webtoons since you will have the time to change to another career if it doesnt go well

@bl_loverr I’m in college right now, taking up Secondary Education (I won’t go too deep into that topic). My first year as a college student wasn’t really that difficult. Well, I wouldn’t say it was easy, but it wasn’t to the point where I was thinking of dropping out. I go out with my friends, VC my boyfriend most of the day, and play games like MLBB, HoK, and Roblox. I think I’m living a normal life, and I’m actually enjoying it. If you’re wondering about my plans for the future, well... I’m planning to work abroad, visit my boyfriend someday, and hopefully get married, hahaha.

Anw, don’t stress yourself out too much, but don’t be too relaxed either. Don’t be afraid to try everything you want (as long as it’s not illegal), because along the paths you take, you’ll learn useful lessons that will help you someday. Failure is a part of life, so you can’t move forward if you’re afraid to fail. Use it as a stepping stone and as a tool to improve yourself. Padayon, my fellow manhwa enthusiasts!
@bl_loverr hey, don't stress about what you wanna do in the future and how to earn your life. I have graduated from random university in a random department. I'm 33 in a month and what I am doing right now is not even close to what I studied back at the university. Knowing what you wanna do is good but life is gonna push you somewhere anyway so just try to be good at whatever you do.
yo I get that… life feels kinda unreal sometimes and finals suck. but like… today I’m thankful I didn’t stub my toe, woke up, got to school/home safe, stuff like that. little things, y’know? also omg figure skating sounds so fun and webtoons too… maybe just start small, like 10 mins drawing or messing around with skating moves at home. doesn’t have to be huge rn.”
