Just say y'all have never stomach-ed anything more than a generic bedtime story "she fell first, he fell harder". This is so much more complex than that. Neither she nor the ml were saints and if y'all can't understand that much, then leave. Dw, no one will miss y'all in these comment sections.

yeah literally no one called or treated her like an angel. Sure people like her more than ML but the whole discussion 'yall' had was about how his actions towards her are not justified even if she was sheltered/spoiled. If you think being upset over a character having been abused equals seeing them as angelic that's on you. People literally talked about how they want to see, and I quote one comment from memory, "the real anette, not the perfect anette he imagined but the real and flawed anette...etc". You're pulling the whole "angelic" and "saint" from your a$$hole.
I also don't quite agree with the "she wasn't a passerby" comment considering the fact that a woman in that time of age, since you want to be so historically accurate, wasn't used for much more than marriage. The fact that her father "sheltered" her by embellishing the reality of how bad their family treated people shows how she was being kept away from politics but whatever, think what you want. You do you, keep babbling about how special you are and how you're the only one who truly understands the story like none of us morons do lmao.
