@AggroWall while the clown isn't a threat the unknown force behind the crown could be g** knows how strong. He needed that sword to sever the root and this entity can do at least that muc

It just seems like overkill by the MC. I guess it's just an issue where he was set up to have lived for a veeeeeeeeerrryy long time in the evil demon king's prison world. And he defeated her, an entity that had destroyed many worlds. I understand he's trying to keep a low profile, but I just don't really understand his power scaling. I guess it's only chapter 12, but that's also the reason why him grabbing the sword doesn't have much impact to me. Is he strong? Overly cautious? Intelligent?
With the power scaling and the focus of the story so far, the only thing I understand about the MC is that he has a bleeding heart.
