do people prefer chapters to come out more often, but be cut into pieces (like 31.1, 31.2, 31.3, 32.1, etc) or prefer slower updates but full chapters (so 31, 32, 33 etc)?
I have to wonder, because I personally can't stand it when chapters are cut into parts, even if that means translation gets faster, but almost every single translator does it so I have to guess it's something people prefer.
@Unslaadahsil personally I'd prefer the full chapter get released (1, 2, 3, 4...) however with how some people spoil stories on this site I think it better overall to release as the raws do even if they are cut up.
@Unslaadahsil TBH I'm okay with either, as long as it's in order. What I'm not a fan of is when every full chapter is followed by two or three parts of the same chapter, like there's chapter 4, and then chapter 4.1 and 4.2 before chapter 5
@ZacsBrebac Yeah, double chapters are the worst. Though sometimes you find a better translation in one of them. I can't remember which manga it was, but I remember that the full chapter used a lot of literal translations (like calling someone "big brother" instead of attaching "-nii-san" to their name, and they didn't differentiate between "nii-san" and "aniki", according to the second translation. The second translation was in part, but it used the proper sufixess and words and the translation and sentence structure were a lot more polished.
