I tried to tolerate it to see more the story, but I'm dropping this. Very typical ml. Instead of being honest, he's being rude, controlling, and nosy. Saying that they'll meet again "whether she likes it or not", touching her and getting close without persmission. Using his money and resources to meddle in her life...it's all typical ml ass**** behavior. What a shame, because I like a good revenge story, but I've had to drop so many of them bc of the rude, controlling mls, the fls that don't keep their boundaries, and toxicity that's portrayed as romantic.

@L.Smith You need to read my comment again. It's not impatience, the ml is typical. I want a green flag from the beginning, not character development (assuming that this ml will go through any). I want an ml that treats the fl with respect instead of of control, but I can see that's too much to ask for this story as well. Read properly.
@Joeyta Liverra That's what I want to ask. I've dropped so many stories, usually because of the ml, but even in the rare cases that the ml isn't the problem, there's some other red flag male character that's tormenting the fl or the author writes that the fl forgives the person/people who abused her (family etc) or the fl doesn't set hard boundaries against them etc etc. so I still end up dropping it.
I guess there's "Why Would A Villainess Need Virtue" I remember that this story satisfied me so much at first. I thought, "Now THIS is revenge". I love strategic fls, but this fl is also very skilled in combat (which is rare to see in an fl), so I also loved her revenge for that reason. It was the kind of revenge that I always wanted to see. The ml isn't as typical, but the lack of communication towards his sister irritated me a lot. At least to my memory, he's much more of a green flag. You can try that story.

@Joeyta Liverra There's also "Please Don't Come to the Villainess's Stationary Store", the revenge isn't the foundational focus of the story, but imo it was very satisfying seeing her wreck the cheaters and abusers that wouldn't stop coming after her. She's very strategic, which I love seeing in an fl. The ml isn't typical, he's also more a of green flag.
"Red Hot Revenge is one too." The fl is very smart and strategic as well. The ml is very different, but he's a big green flag in how he supports her.
There might be a few others, but I don't remember enough about them to suggest more. However, if you like active fls and some good comedy mixed in, I do suggest "Behold the True Villainess", it has some revenge in it as well. I haven't read up to the current chapter though, I dropped it after the ml did something really selfish. He's not as typical though, I'd say he leans more towards green flag, and in general, he's a fun character because of the comedy in the story.
