@Mengmeng because artist is not getting paid enough and she is being exploited, and because she got tired of fighting illegal readers. Horizon seems to be over working their artists and they do not get paid enough, and this is a problem of readers too because we are stealing their content. It's sad but we are all contributing to this. Also stranger in the mirror for anyone that read it, it was cancelled by the same problem, too many illegal readers and the author got tired of fighting them and decided to cancel her work.

you hit the nail on the head. A lot of the creators who make money have to resort to appealing to their most dedicated fans (Unordinary's author has a patreon and dedicates quite a bit of effort to make promotional content to sustain herself) with crowdfunding
too bad there isn't a pay what you can/want model that works. Especially since currency isn't the same everywhere
you would think with how popular finance/business is as a student major, someone would have proposed something decent

@FreeVenezuela THIS. I just wanna add that part of the authors salary is the sales. Just picture this, 100 readers buy their content and then distribute it illegaly, like here, and millions end up reading it. So authors get paid by a hundred of readers that bought their work and a million stole from them. That's why authors are so mad with illegal readers like us. We are all stealing from them and sometimes authors get tired of it and abandon their work. It's not worth it to get paid about 5% of what your readers actually are.
