@M.Monroe I agree :) I like certain aspects of his personality, such as how he's mysterious, sometimes funny, and is very helpful to those in desperate circumstances (like Dan and his grandmother). I also like how he's respectful to strangers and even his opponents. On the other hand, there's a sadistic side to him, as we have seen in his mistreatment of Dan. But I love that he's a morally grey character who is not perfect, and that he has a dark side. It adds so much more interest and realism to the story 🙂
You're right that his rudeness does seem to fit, like his grumpy ways and how he stubbornly pushes Dan past his comfort zone to experience things he otherwise would not have. Jaekyung has done some really awful things, but he's not irredeemable.

@Jem Yesss. Finally somebody that gets it. I agree with everything you said. I never understood why Jinx got all the hate as There are SO many worse than Jaekyung.  I also never understood why they hated the fact he didn't cry when Dan left as if his personality was supposed to change immediately after Dan left him which doesn't even make any sense. I love the way mingwa made him, because as u said there's a sense of realism with his character and he's also kind  mysterious. I can't wait for season 2 to see how his character develops and to see new sides of him we haven't already.
@Jem for someone to say that they understand what jaekyung has done is wrong but then say that he isn't irredeemable is crazy wor
